This morning saw me getting up early (for me) to join some friends for low tide at the Fauntleroy ferry terminal to do some tide-pooling.
I was expecting “walk around the beach at low tide, seeing what critters were caught in the tidepools”, and dressed accordingly. The reality was “wade in the shallow water under the pier and look for critters on and between the pilings”. Which was fine! Shoes and socks came off, pants were rolled up, and wading happened. 🙂
