Welcome to Andrew Flenniken Photography!

Andrew Flenniken is a Seattle-based photographer working in fine art, events, and portraiture.  Hailing originally from Atlantic Canada, he grew up surrounded by both his mother’s art, and the natural beauty of his native New Brunswick.  From her he gained an appreciation for classical painting, particularly the works of the Impressionists.  From the landscape of New Brunswick he learned to love the passage of the seasons, and how to see the ways in which each reveals its unique splendor.  Through both he developed a fascination with light: how its presence can obscure, and its absence can reveal.
