Color photo. A cluster of purple verbena flowerlets, two of which at the top are cradling drops of water.

This past weekend Kenmore Camera had their Digital Expo. My friend, fellow photographer, and Sigma Ambassador Heather Larkin came to town for the event to do a macro presentation and photo walk. It’s always a pleasure to attend her classes and workshops, and I can’t recommend them enough. The photo walk was also going to be at the Bellevue Botanical Garden, which requires absolutely zero convincing for me to visit. 😛

We’d gotten rain the night before, so there were plenty of drops everywhere, adding visual interest.  It was a few hours very well spent, and good fodder for Macro Monday!

As always, if you’d like to buy a print of any of the photos in the post, leave a comment and I’ll add it to the print store.
