Winter is coming.
In the Cascades the trees are mostly bare, with only patches and pops of color remaining. Snow is beginning to collect on the peaks and slowly advance down the slopes.
Late in the day today, I decided to drive out Highway 2. We’d been having on and off sun all day, and I thought maybe I’d catch a sunset in the mountains with some red clouds.
It didn’t turn out that way, but I flew the drone and got this shot, which I’m reasonably happy with.
