Last Saturday was the first day of the U District Cherry Blossom Festival, and I went to the quad at the University of Washington campus with some friends to see how the trees were coming along. The blooms were just a tiny bit pre-peak then, but there were enough for some great photos, as I hope you’ll agree. The birds, both real and decorative, seemed to appreciate them as well. 😀
My understanding is that they’re at full-bloom now, and I’ve been booked for a shoot on Sunday to take advantage. I’m out of town soon, starting 3/26, but there’s time to get a shoot booked before then if you’re in the area! Reach out via the contact form on my site, or message me on one of the social media sites I post to, to check availability and pricing.
