Color photo. Sunset. The waters of Lake Washington are in the foreground, covered in soft ripples, reflecting the active sky above. The sky is full of dark clouds, in shades of blue and purple, tinged pink in the upper right from the unseen setting sun. The line of the lake's far shore divides the photograph in two, between water and sky. The distant skyline of Seattle pokes up above the trees, into the clouds.

I’ve lived in Kirkland for over half a year now, and hadn’t gotten down to Juanita Beach Park until this past Wednesday.

Turned out to be a good day for my first visit, don’t you think?

And remember! I’ll be at the Labour Temple tonight, for the Belltown Art Walk from 6PM to 9PM, where my two pieces in Wonder Collective Seattle‘s abstract photography exhibit are hung. Stop by and say hi!
