I’ve always enjoyed working performances, and shooting the plays by No Refunds Productions is something I’ve come to look forward to. They put on a show roughly twice a year, and if you get the chance I can’t recommend them enough.
Gear used in this shoot: Nikon Z 7II, Nikon Z 24-70mm f2.8 S, Nikon 70-200mm f2.8 G
This was the description for this show, The Publick Universal Friend:
Jodie is an aquarium punk. Her recent experiments in gender expression have caused friction in her relationship, and she’s been sleeping in the Hall of Sharks. At night, a pair of 400-year-old Greenland sharks tell her bedtime stories about famous queers. True stories from history. It’s an anthology with scams and dancing, and you shouldn’t miss it.
Dancing bullets! Bags of Glass! Cheap Mascots!
A visit from the angels starts a Quaker croaking. An encounter with a lady’s apron, starts a tiny servant moaning. Exposure to The Book of Ruth gets a German exchange student quoting.
Airhorn sounds! Kangaroo Courts! Pistols at Dawn!
From the troupe who showed you everything you’ve ever loved and helped you forget everything you’ve ever hated.
