From the NRP site, their description of the play:

Sunset People–A Scary Disco Play

Autumn 1977 — the bathhouses are steamy and the hookah joints are smoky. With just the beer light to guide them, the dive bars are proudly anti-disco…until the vampires point to the turntable and demand a change.

Vinyl Terror! Stained Bandages! Crushed Pearls!

Featuring an all-dancing cast of cracked poets and overemployed bingo callers, Sunset People turns Halloween weekend into an impossible-to-reconcile twilight of antediluvian pleasures and plasma-drenched bead curtains.

Family Dinners! Frankenscum! Skin Cream!

It’s super funny, ultra terrifying, and radically live on stage! Make it a part of your Halloween weekend.
