Color macro photo. A magenta flower bud, curled up and not yet blooming, at the end of a green stalk. Green leaves with fine white hairs surround the bud.
Black and white macro photo. A tightly packed cluster of flower buds. On the right side, many have fully bloomed, each having five tiny round petals with many long thin stamen projecting from the center.
