Color photo. A group of tall thin plants, covered in lavender flowerlets, some of which are tipped in red. at the bottom of the two closest are a couple of yellow and black bumblebees collecting nectar.

Still plenty of things flowering at the Bellevue Botanical Garden when I was there on the 20th, and that means the bees were keeping busy.  We’re deep into lavender season here, so those were a particular favorite.
