On either side of the path is golden grass, dotted with tall clumps of magenta, pink, and white flowers. Happy Solstice! First day of summer for those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, and thus the longest day of the year.

I’ve never been much of a “Summer” person (Autumn is my favorite season), but I’m warming to them as I get older.  😉  These photos were taken in summers past, and I’m looking forward to seeing what this year’s summer brings.
