A week ago there was a pretty significant aurora event, visible across most of the US, even as far south as Florida.
I wanted to try to get the aurora reflected in water below a mountain, so I headed out to Lake Wenatchee State Park. I got there between 8:00 and 8:30, set up the tripod close to the water’s edge (one leg practically in the lake), and waited for the show to begin.
And while I’m happy with the reflection shots I got, it was the grinning skull in the sky that jumped out at me when I was editing today.
Seemed pretty apropos for Spooky Season. 😀
Let me know if you’d like to see any of these become a print in my print store!
