One of the reasons I don’t shoot my Sigma 150-600mm more is the difficulty carrying it in anything other than my dedicated photo backpack. It’s a great lens, but very heavy (about 4 pounds), and quite long on its own, even before it’s mounted on the camera.
So a few days ago I experimented with putting it cross-ways in one of my walking bags. It fit that way, barely, and was much easier to carry than it would have been around my neck (ug
