My original plans for yesterday didn’t end up working out, but a friend messaged to see if I wanted to go to the Seattle Pride parade. She’d never been before, so that’s what we did.

We took the bus downtown and planted ourselves on the parade route. We got lucky and were helped up to the top of a low wall by some folks who’d gotten there earlier, which let us see above the crowd (mostly).

I particularly appreciated the two church groups I saw marching. It’s good to see them out there loudly reminding the world that Christianity is not a monolith: there are large denominations out there that welcome everyone.
