Around this time last year I did the longest camping trip I’ve ever taken, spending a week and a half living in my tent, staying in Glacier National Park and Grand Teton National Park. I’ve posted a few photos from that trip already but, for a variety of reasons, haven’t really dug through everything and picked out the ones I want to show you.

So I’m going to start doing that! I’m not sure how long it’ll take me to get through them all, and I’m going to work on some other things that might get posted in between, but I’m excited to have you see the parks through my eyes.

Today’s post starts with Lake McDonald, late on the first day at Glacier. It had been very overcast earlier, while I drove up Going to the Sun Road for the first time, but it was clearing by evening. Even with the clouds earlier the views were still amazing and dramatic, as I think you can see.
